The Studios

Where the magic happens...

Whether you want to have an afternoon of sewing, make a present for your mum or run a series of educational wellbeing workshops we have the space for you.

Jules and her team from Sew Me Something have been running sewing and craft workshops and courses for 11 years and know just what makes a successful workshop from both tutor and participants points of view.

This is why the Creative Studios are fully equipped with everything to make running a workshop a much more pleasurable experience. Including a Workshop Host to help meet and greet and support the tutor throughout the session. Ensuring that everyone has the best possible creative experience.

We have three different creative studios, all of which are accessible to wheelchair users:

The Sewing Studio

For all things textile-based. From beginner sewing to advanced pattern cutting, arm knitting to quiltmaking, this is the space to enjoy working with soft and tactile fabrics. It’s a lovely, large studio space with big tables, lots of sewing machines and a lovely green picture window.

The Craft Studio

For all other crafts including printmaking, willow weaving, jewellery making and book binding. We have short workshops to whet your appetite and longer courses to help you grow your creative practise. There’s a big sink space and oodles of lovely light from the big, windows facing the courtyard.

The Creative Studio

A light and welcoming space with big oak beams to use for all manner of creative and wellbeing events. It’s been used as a photography and filming studio, wellbeing sessions and creative business workshops, even a book launch and art gallery.
